This text on General Topology-I is for postgraduate students and gives complete and comprehensive coverage of the topics usually taught at this level. This book has been written in very simple language for better understanding. The book is divided into four chapters. The first chapter contains cardinal numbers, second about the general concept of topological space, third about mappings and fourth about connectedness.

Nitakshi Goyal received her M.Sc.(Mathematics) degree in 2012 from Punjabi University, Patiala(India). Presently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Desh Bhagat College, Baradwal-Dhuri(India). Her main research area is Topology and Category Theory.
