Fixed point theorem plays a prominent role in pure and applied mathematics. The achievement in the field of functional analysis in last few decades is mainly the development of new imaginative ways to use the fundamental tools of the functional analysis.The problems associated in the present research work are related to the study of fixed point theorems in cone metric space, cone Banach space, b- metric space, complex valued b-metric space along with the application of fixed point theorem in mathematical economics (Topological Vector Space).

Prof. R. P. Dubey completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics (Functional Analysis) in the year 1991. At present he is working as Vice Chancellor in Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur (C.G.). He is having 28 year of teaching and 5 year of Administrative Experience. His research papers are cited in more than 180 National and International Journals.
