This book is a collection of recent developments in spectral and approximation theory. The results collected here were presented at the International Conference on Spectral and Approximation Theory (ICSAT-2023) which took place at Cochin University of Science and Technology in Kerala, India. The conference ICSAT-2023 focuses on two significant areas in mathematics: spectral theory and approximation theory.

Noufal Ashraf is an associate professor of mathematics at Cochin University of Science and Technology. Wolfram Baur is a professor of mathematics at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover. Rajaram Bhat is a professor of mathematics at the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Division of the Indian Statistical Intitute. Jaydeb Sarkar a professor of mathematics at the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Division of the Indian Statistical Intitute.
