Data is no longer stationary assumed to be lying in large stores waiting to be analyzed. Instead, it is now being viewed as a continuously stream, pouring in and constantly changing. Therefore, modern models for data mining have to have an inherent capability - Adaptability. This book presents a novel framework for mining streams, which is capable of automatically detecting and adapting to various types of changes in data, by integrating limited feedback from domain experts.

Tegjyot Singh Sethi received his Masters in Computer Science from the University of Louisville, USA, working in the area of streaming data mining. He is certified in data mining and has research contributions and interests in the areas of Bio-Inspired Algorithms, Soft Computing, Data Stream Classification and Ensemble Methods.
