Operation Research is a science of better and effective decision making. In todays highly competitive market, organizations are under pressure and challenge for finding better ways to send the products to the customers in a cost effective manner. Althgough a serious gap exists between theory and practice in many organizations, study and implication of operations research models can provide substantial contributions to long term planning framework and serve as an assisting tool to forecast possible future developments.
