The research work presented in this book is aimed to overcome some issues related to structured aggregation approaches, conventional compression techniques, data aggregation in single sink network architectures and secure data aggregation which includes data integrity and data confidentiality issues. Also, it is aimed to make some enhancements such as incorporating the fault management in the multiple sink network architectures to provide efficient data aggregation. In this research work, various techniques have discussed including: Adaptive Traffic Aware Data Aggregation Technique (ATAA), Cost Effective Compressive Data Aggregation (CECDA) technique, Multiple Sink based Compressive Data Aggregation (MSCDA), Fault Management for Efficient Data Gathering (FMEDG) and Secure Data Aggregation technique using Reliable nodes (SDAR).
