Biometrics present a very accurate method to person identification, authentication and separation. Using Biometrics it is possible to develop a software model that can be used to perform authentication and identification in a voting process. This book illustrates a case of using frontal facial biometrics for country such as Zambia in performing voter identity management. The use of the frontal facial biometric model proposed would work very well for a country such as Zambia because of its' use of open source technology and already in-built frontal web camera existing on most clam-shell architecture computing resources.

Lubasi Musambo holds a Master of Engineering in ICT Security from The University of Zambia and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in IT from the University of Hertfordshire. He is a developer of a 'frontal facial biometric model' that automates the Zambian Civil Registration System for which he holds a patent number CR/21/19 within Zambia.
