This is a project to improve life and access to information via the mobile phone.In this modern time, people still practice traditional methods of family planning. Majority of people do not discuss family related issues in public. Maternal information has proved difficult to access. Also, HIV and AIDS is on the rampant killing so many people. To manage such problems and challenges, a solution called Tunza which is a Swahili word for care has been provided. Tunza is a J2ME based mobile application that delivers family, STDs, HIV and AIDs, and maternal knowledge via the mobile phone. The competitive advantage of Tunza is that it simplifies access to such information irrespective of the distance and time. Worldwide, family planning helps couples to space the births of their children and to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Some family planning methods also help people avoid sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV.
