This book deals with the identification of Noun Phrases in Hindi language by using Government and Binding Theory. It aims towards the development of structure for forming principles, rules and assumptions so as to achieve better understanding of the internal structure of a noun phrase in Hindi.This task of identifying and extracting noun phrases plays a vital role in natural language processing. It may also act as a tutorial for the syntax and semantics of a language.

Dr Kavita Khanna is, at present, an Associate Professor with The NorthCap University, Gurgaon. She has 17 years of teaching experience during which she has published more than 30 research papers and guided 19 M.Tech students. Her research areas include artificial neural networks, digital image processing, computer graphics & NLP.
