This book is mainly focusing on relational database design using SQL but while reading you get to learn many good practices like PL/SQL and database connectivity using front-end and back-end. The concept of normalization of database leads to better designed databases. This book deals with this in great detail. This book is intended for students who are struggling to understand the SQL concepts of good database. It talks about various commands with its syntax. This book is very simple and easy to understand. It demonstrates various commands through Oracle SQL PLUS. I welcome any feedback that would improve the book. Dr V. SATHIYAMOORTHI is currently working as an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department at Sona College of Technology, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He received his Ph.D degree from Anna University, Chennai, TN, India. His areas of specialization include Web Usage Mining, Database and Design and Analysis of Algorithm.
