This book arose from notes written for MATLAB course taught to UG and PG classes. The book is originally designed to introduce the fundamentals of Digital Image Processing as well as MATLAB assuming that students are using MATLAB. It can be used as introductory book for those with no experience at all with MATLAB. It is written in a self contained way and basics are explained as they are introduced. Many examples in this book are implemented for readers ease.

Mohseena Thaseen completed Master in Computer Applications (MCA) degree and Ph.D. (Computer Science) in 2013. Her field of research is ANN and Biological Information Processing. she has published over 20 research papers, attended many conferences, meetings, and workshop and is the reviewer for many national and international Journals.
