I am inspired by the fact that modern control engineering deals with improving manufacturing processes, the efficiency of energy use, advanced automobile control, chemical processes, traffic control systems and robotic systems, among others. This book provides the first systematic application of Artificial Intelligence using Soft Computing Approaches. This book also aims at demystifying the concept of soft computing application by using step by step methods. This book would be useful for the researchers who are interested in carrying out their work on Soft Computing Methods.

Dr.Jyotiprakash Patra obtained his B.E Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Biju Pattnaik Technical University, Orissa in the year 2004. He acquired M.E in Computer Science & Engineering from CSVTU, Bhilai in 2008. MATS University, Raipur awarded him with the Ph.D. degree for his work in the field of Soft Computing in 2015.
