Richard B. Cathcart earned AA degree from the City College of San Francisco, transferred to San Francisco State College where he earned a BA degree (majoring in Geography) and a Master of Arts degree (Geography). He is a Member of the Candida Oancea Institute in Bucharest, Romania since 1997.
