This book based on the thesis which focuses on dealing with the applications of the concepts of Rough set theory and Neighbourhood systems in knowledge representation and knowledge discovery from information systems. Also, it presents some work on privacy problems in social networks. The content of the book is distributed in seven chapters, followed by an extensive bibliography.

Dr. Anirban Mitra is presently associated with VITAM, Berhampur(India) as Associate Professor and Head in Dept. of Computer Science Engineering. He has authored papers in international and national journals and conferences. He is having Book-Chapters and one edited book. He is an IEEE, ACM and CSI member and is a reviewer for journals & conferences.
