Determining the level of similarity of two paintings has long been a critical topic in copyright research. This study chose the Leonardo da Vincis world-famous painting Mona Lisa, painted between 1503 and 1517, as the main study object and compared it with a popular reinterpretation of da Vincis Mona Lisa, commonly referred to as Chubby Boy, circulated on the Internet. A total of 60 subjects were tested in this study, and eyetracking was adopted to record the identification area and tracks of subjects eyeball movement. This study aimed to explore the possibility of using the identification area and track information for determining the features of artworks.
