This book constitutes revised and selected papers from the 5th International Symposium on Security and Privacy in Social Networks and Big Data, SocialSec 2019, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in July 2019. The 18 full papers and 3 short papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 76 submissions.
