This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 21st International Conference on Applications of Natural Language to Information Systems, NLDB 2016, held in Salford, UK, in June 2016. The 17 full papers, 22 short papers, and 13 poster papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 83 submissions.
