New in this edition is coverage of Oracle Solaris, thereby broadening the book's audience to include not only Linux customers, but those using Solaris as well. Also new is coverage of virtualization and consolidation, two of the biggest trends to hit the industry in years. The new coverage expands the audience for the book, and should lead to even larger sales and a greater stature in the market place.
