Natural Computing is the fascinating new field that has resulted from the improbable interplay between computer science and the natural sciences. It is the field of research that explores human-designed computing inspired by nature, such as artificial immune systems inspired by natural immune systems or evolutionary computation inspired by Darwinian evolution of species.
