The biggest challenge for agriculture research and development is to suggest solutions that can best match the multiple and often-conflicting development objectives of various stakeholders, such as increased income and employment, improved natural resource quality and food security. This book provides a properly designed Decision Support System (DSS), which is an interactive software-based system intended to help decision makers in compiling useful information from raw data sets, documents, personal knowledge and wisdom, and/or business models to identify and solve problems and make decisions.

Dr. Hina Bansal is working as an Assistant Professor in the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Amity Institute of Biotechnology since January, 2008. She has completed her Ph.D from Meerut University. Her research interests are Computational Biology, Proteomics, Functional Genomics, Genome Informatics and In-silico Systems Biology.
