This book constitutes the proceedings from the 30th IFIP WG 1.5 International Workshop on Cellular Automata and Discrete Complex Systems, AUTOMATA 2024, held in Durham, United Kingdom, during July 22-24, 2024. The 10 full papers presented in these proceedings were carefully reviewed and selected from 18 submissions. These include papers from the 4 invited talks given by Alberto Dennunzio, Luca Mariot, Elisabeth Remy, and Agnieszka Rusinowska at the conference.
