In this book, the performance of a spatial domain Gabor filter has been evaluated for a Fingerprint Recognition system. Firstly, the performance of a convention Fingerprint Recognition has been taken, containing image load, segmentation, thinning, minutiae marking, false minutiae removal steps using database FVC DB1_B 2000. Secondly, a new model of Fingerprint Recognition has been developed from previous mentioned model with the help of Spatial Gabor Filter for image enhancement purpose. Then the performance of the developed system has been evaluated using same database. Based on the analysis, an integrated solution for the effect of spatial domain Gabor Filter has been developed.
