Vision is the most powerful of the five human senses. Visual information, conveyed in the form of images gives better impact than textual information. Nowadays, remote sensing images are extremely used in the military, mineral exploration, monitoring ocean currents, land use planning and monitoring the condition of forest and agricultural areas. Due to these applications, research and development of remote sensing image processing have advanced very rapidly in the past decade. The objective of this book is discussing the basic concept of wavelet analysis on the remote sense image processing.

Amir Rajaei obtained Industrial Engineering from Islamic Azad University, Iran. He received the MCA (Master of Computer Application) from the University of Mysore, India in the year 2008. Currently, he is a research scholar in the department of studies in Computer Science, University of Mysore, Mysore. His area of research is computer vision.
