The book, Essential ICT for Informatics and Management Students targets students of the University, Polytechnic, College of Education, School of Nursing, College of Health Sciences & Technology and other educational institutions offering ICT and ICT related courses as part of taught courses. The theme underlying the book, Essential ICT for Informatics and Management Students is the importance of rigour in computer packages. My emphasis is on practically identifying and applying fundamental principles that are applicable to ICT and ICT dependent professions. This book gives a full technical and practical knowledge on informatics, data and information management, computer hardware and software, computer virus, networking, Internet and Web, smartphones, and Microsoft office packages such as Microsoft excel, Microsoft power point and Microsoft word among others. This book embodies my belief in the use of fundamental principles and importance of theory and practical in the applications of ICT to all spheres of human endeavour.
