A Mixed Reality Game is one which is a combination of both the real world and virtual world elements. It is a new genre of mobile games, which integrate real world elements into conventional games. New game elements like location add an extra dimension to the whole game playing experience. Such mixed reality games improve the game playing experience. Adding multiplayer aspect to games in general, be it PC games or mobile games, always changes the game dynamics. Location-based mobile games are those where the game activity evolves according to a players locations. Location based games are already dynamic in nature as the game experience varies with the place or town where it is being played and adding player collaboration further enhances the dynamic nature of these games. Chocolate Wars was created to explore the ideas of collaboration in mixed reality location-based mobile games. It aims to explore interesting collaboration patterns developed by players while playing the game.

I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science from VIT Vellore, India and pursued my M.S. in Media Informatics from RWTH Aachen, Germany, during which I worked as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer (FIT). Thereafter I worked as a Technical Game Designer at Delta Engine. Currently I work as a Senior Software Engineer at Arvato Bertlesmann.
