This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 8th International Symposium, UNet 2022, held in Montreal, QC, Canada, during October 25-27, 2022. The 17 full papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 43 submissions. Moreover, 4 additional invited papers have been also considered.
