The objective of this book is to obtain and share insights and information about educational data mining, using open-source statistical software, with readers. The content of this book is well-structured and easy-to-understand for readers. It reveals an approach of implementing machine learning in order to improve various fields of human activity. Step-by-step guides for a lot of types of data collecting, university authoritativeness identification are described. This book presents unique data analysis of educational information to promote better understanding education process in general. Methods of recommendation system development are described. Our monograph contains statistical summaries, data visualization, university information portraits and others. Concept of Strategic Positioning for institution of higher education in Social Networks are developed and described. Main steps for achieving an efficient information resource of a library have been explained, and methods for calculating efficiency of such resources are considered. Prospects and trends in automated scheduling software at Universities have been processed, and are already used in educational processes.
