This two-volume set, CCIS 2370 and CCIS 2371, constitutes the proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Computer-Human Interaction Research and Applications, CHIRA 2024, held Porto, Portugal, during November 21-22, 2024. The 16 full papers and 45 short papers presented in these volumes were carefully reviewed and selected from 76 submissions.
