This book is for Molecular Modelling and Bioinformatics students. It provides theoretical background about the techniques of feature matching, their advantages and disadvantages. The application of geometric hashing for shape and structure comparison among molecules is detailed herein with suitable examples and figures. It outlines a novel approach for pharmacophore modelling. It includes simple examples and numerous explanatory figures to demonstrate the same.

Suchismita Mahato was born and brought up in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. She has her B.Tech degree in CSE from GIACR, Orissa under the affiliation of BPUT. She pursued her Masters from Central University of Punjab under the guidance of Dr. Mahesh Kulharia. She is continuing her Ph.D. at Central University of Punjab under his supervision.
