This book represents the flocculation behaviour of two different clayey sample associated with borax crystal. Author firstly discussed the problem related the high degree of colloidal stability of the samples and then he suggested the beneficial chemical and physical parameters for the efficient removal of these fine particles from borax-buffered aqueous suspension. Also, the physicochemical properties of these clayey samples were explained with the help of the Zeta-Potential measurements and ATR-FTIR studies.
Autorenporträt
The author was born in Izmir/Turkey in 1983. He was graduated from METU in 2007. He had MSc degree in 2010 and PhD in 2014. He is now working in MSKÜ Mining Eng. Dept. His research interests are coagulation, flocculation, electrocoagulation, AMD and mineral beneficiation.
