The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 21 or CMP 11 will be held in Le Bourget, France (near Paris), from November 30 to December 11. It will be the 21st yearly session of the Conference of the Parties to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 11th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol. The conference's objective is to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, from all the nations of the world. At the writing of this book the Leadership of the negotiations is yet to be determined. In the process of writing this book, the author put together facts and figures from various pertinent sources, such that this book can serve as a primer to the topic of Climate Change and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), for both novices and experts alike. This book is, therefore, a must read for all who will be attending the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference at Le Bourget, France, any other meetings or gatherings pertaining to the subject of Climate Change, by everyone, novice or expert, interested in the subject.

Hans E. Alagoa, at the writing of this book, was a Doctor of Applied Management candidate at Monarch University in Switzerland. Born in Nigeria, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Marquette University in the USA. Hans is a Registered Engineer, a Member of ASCE, and Managing Director of Hans Nelson Nigeria Ltd.
