GIS and Remote Sensing, play an important role in spatial analysis of spatial dataset by establishing spatial relationships between different environmental factors. Efficient management of Land Environment can be suggested processing recent Satellite Imageries of the project area through software applications such as ERDAS Imagine and ArcGIS. Land use and land cover change study is one such study which helps in understanding the interactions of the human activities with the environment by simulating changes during the past and predict the future Land use for the purpose of planning and other environmental studies.

Received his Bachelor in Civil Engineering and Masters in Coastal Management from Anna University Chennai. He completed Exchange program from Department of Earth Science, Uppsala University Sweden. Soon after his Master's degree in 2012, he joined L&T Ramboll Consulting Engineers Ltd, as an Engineering Consultant in the Dept. of Ports-Environment.
