Water is very essential to human life and existence hence there is need for humankind to fish out every possible source that water can be found. It is in this direction that geophysical prospecting in basaltic scenarios was conducted. Huge percentage of water is is saline in nature and also majority of the sources are polluted by anthropogenic activities. Investigating basalt using geophysical methods for water will at least solve some of the aforementioned problems faced by some other sources of water. This is a very important piece for Geophysicists, Environmental Engineers as well as other researchers in this field.
