In this book I have tried to explain in simple way for engineering students what exactly the need to understand for their future requirements. Since I have both Industrial and academic experience for more than a decade it made me to choose some topics which are very important for a civil Engineer.This is basic subject for civil engineering students which will give a brief idea for core subjects like Soil mechanics, Foundation Engineering, Earthquake Engineering and many more.

CHETHAN B M completed B.E (C.E) from Sir MVIT, Bangalore worked as a Site and Pile Engineer at BMRCL later on completed ME (EQE)) at UVCE, Bangalore then started working as assistant professor at SKIT Dept of Civil Eng Bangalore, INDIA, and presently working as Associate Professor Dept. of Civil Eng, Mettu university,ETHIOPIA.
