Mysore city is the cultural capital of Karnataka state and it is famous for beautiful palace and heritage monuments. It has ruled by Wodeyar of Mysore, Hyderali and Tipu Sultan. The Dasara of Mysore is world famous for its celebration and attracting. This book examine the changes in demographic structure of Mysore City like growth, density, composition, fertility, mortality and occupational structure in the temporal context between 1901 to 2001.

presently working as guest lecturer in Maharaja's College Mysore.He has completed post graduate in Geography from University of Mysore and Master of Philosophy from Bharathidasan University.He is also qualified UGC-NET and K-SET in 2012 & 2013 exams respectively, to eligible for Lectureship.He has published several research papers and pursuing Ph.D
