It is indispensable to think of the human evolution and advancement without the Earth's forest resources. A geographical appraisal of this precious resource has been done through these volumes, published in three parts. They deal with the description of the forest resource, its distribution, uses and management policies. The first part presented herein initiates the series by defining the forest resource in its various contexts and forms.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Priyanka Puri is Assistant Professor at Miranda House College at the University of Delhi, India. With more than seven years of teaching experience, she has also been a UGC Research Fellow at the University of Delhi. Her interests include teaching of geography and research with a focus on contributing to the discipline.
