Beschreibung

This groundbreaking book revolutionizes the study of territorial space use efficiency by integrating geospatial effects into its evaluation. Departing from traditional methods, it pioneers a novel approach that combines geography factor analysis, geography data envelopment analysis, and an extended cellular automata model for a comprehensive evaluation and prediction of territorial space use efficiency. The book delves into theoretical frameworks, methodological models, and presents in-depth empirical studies focused on Chinese cities. By exploring evaluation indicator selection, construction of evaluation and prediction models, and conducting empirical analyses, the book offers readers a comprehensive understanding of the subject.

Autorenporträt

Dr. Yin Ma is a researcher specializing in geospatial analysis, territorial space use efficiency, and sustainable regional development. She earned her Ph.D. from China University of Geosciences (Beijing), with research focuses including spatial modeling, intensive and efficient land use, and resource management based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). With a strong publication record, Dr. Ma has published 5 SCI papers as first or corresponding author, another 8 co-authored SCI papers, and 3 articles in Chinese core journals. Her research integrates quantitative spatial techniques with policy-driven applications to address challenges in urban-rural planning, ecological conservation, and smart land governance. During her academic career, Dr. Ma received numerous prestigious awards at the university, provincial, and national levels in recognition of her outstanding research achievements in the fields of earth sciences and spatial planning. Currently, she serves at the China Aero Geophysical Survey and Remote Sensing Center for Natural Resources, advancing remote sensing technologies for territorial monitoring and sustainable development.
