This Monograph will serve to the readers to understand problems of abandoned, or reactivated mine workings exploitation's. In specific way it helps to knows, and to use an automated and standardized model in assessment of susceptibility as well as compilation of Geo-risk maps. From the other side it gives possibility to provide solutions in conformity with requirements for best managing of risks and chances. As practical aspect of the assessment of susceptibility, compilation and usage of Geo-risk maps for management of abandoned mine workings exploitation's this Monograph presents the management of risks and chances in the conditions of abandoned mine workings exploitation's, in general, and particular to the chromium mining region of Bulqiza in Albania.
Autorenporträt
Gafur Muka, received in 1978 the Master degree in Surveying Engineering and in 1990 the PhD degree from Polytechnic University of Tirana. For three years he worked as surveying engineer in Bulqiza chromite mine. He is trained in Montanuniversitaet, Loeben and in RWTH, Aachen. From 1981, he is lecturer at the Faculty of Geology and Mining.
