Autorenporträt

Dr. Ajith Manayil Parambil is a researcher specializing in aqueous contaminant sensing and remediation, with expertise in carbon dots, novel composites, logic gates, device fabrication, and biocomputation. He earned his Ph.D. from the School of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (2023), following an M.Phil. from Madras University and an M.Sc. (Gold Medalist) from Gandhigram University. He has international research experience at Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Nanotechnology Centre, CEET, VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, and a visiting researcher at Tongji University, China. Dr. Parambil has received prestigious fellowships and awards, including the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) OP JAK Postdoctoral Fellowship, Young Scientist Award-2024 (IAAM, Sweden), AWSAR National Award, INSPIRE JRF & SRF (DST, India), Young Scientist International Travel Grant (SERB, DST, India), and Taiwans TEEP & Global Talent Internship Scholarships. His research contributions appear in various high-impact journals, and he also served as a reviewer and editor for various journals and publishers.  Dr. Eepsita Priyadarshini specializes in nanomaterial fabrication for environmental and biomedical applications, focusing on nanocoatings to prevent biofilm infections. She holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (CSIR-IMMT, India) and conducted postdoctoral research at JNU, New Delhi. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at Galgotias University, India. She previously served as a DST Women Scientist at JNU and was awarded the Newton-Bhabha Ph.D. Fellowship to conduct research at University College London, UK. She has received the Chancellors Gold Medal & University Gold Medal for academic excellence and was recognized among the Worlds Top 2% of Scientists (Stanford Ranking 2024). She serves as a reviewer and editor for journals like ACS Applied Biomaterials, Frontiers in Biomaterials, Materials Letters, and Chemical Engineering Journal. Prof. Paulraj Rajamani is a distinguished researcher in radiation biology, nanobiotechnology, nanotoxicology, environmental cancer biology, and occupational health. A Full Professor at the School of Environmental Sciences, JNU, New Delhi, he holds an M.Phil. and Ph.D. from JNU, where he studied electromagnetic radiations effects on young rat brains. He later conducted ICMR-supported postdoctoral research on environmental and occupational exposures. His work explores the biological interactions of nanomaterials, radiation-induced cellular responses, and environmental carcinogenesis, contributing to policy discussions on occupational and environmental health risks. As a senior academic, he continues to mentor students and collaborate on cutting-edge research.
