The SOIL is a thin layer of earths crust made up of disintegrated and decomposed rocks and which contains complex and mineral compounds, organic matter, water, air and living organisms like bacteria, fungi, protozoa, insects, worms, etc.

Fisseha Itanna is an Ethiopian citizen born on Dec. 25, 1955, with a PhD from the University of Hohenheim in Germany, specializing in the field of Soil Science. He was a faculty member of Addis Ababa University until July 2013, and later joined the University of Namibia (UNAM). His research focus is on soil fertility and environmental pollution.
