Practical experience is needed if we must sustain excellence and competence in chemistry. Teachers and students alike need to improve their own techniques. One reason I believe responsible for the poor interest in conducting researches is the absence of examples to follow. Herein, examples of various experiments are presented with the hope of helping young researchers. The experiments reported in this book were practically conducted, and carefully documented to help researchers.

Dr. S. Attah Egu holds a Ph.D degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and has 10 years teaching experience with Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa and 6 years teaching experience at Undergraduate level. He also had laboratory experience in Cardiff University, Wales, United Kingdom.
