Beschreibung
This work focused on spreading many ideas on the new progression in organometallic chemistry, along with the relation of this field with the bioinorganic chemistry especially the new advances in prodrugs and gene in cancer treatment. The new derivative of compounds (like cisplatin analog) especially ruthenocene and ferrocene will have a high impact on the new progression in treating cancer, in decreasing the number of infections by malaria, analgesic, antineoplastic, anti-convulsant, antiHIV, antioxidant, antimicrobial and DNAcleaving activities. The behavior of these compounds attributed to their stability and the good redox properties. This work devoted to spot some light to the importance of ferrocene derivatives compounds in the biological field and their bio-medicinal action in the treating of some diseases.

Prof. Mokhles Abd-Elzaher, studied his Ph.D. in H. Fischer group in Constance, Germany in 1993 and flourished his work till 2007. His work was progressed in the field of organometallic chemistry with Prof. N. Burzlaff in Erlangen in 2011. His work granted him to get many fellowships from DAAD and AvH, Germany.
