Since 1985 S. Aravamudhan is teaching at the Chemistry Deptt North Eastern Hill University, Shillong; attained the age of superannuation (thus retired) on 30th Nov. 2006; and, is active at the same department as Emeritus Professor preoccupied with research in the specialized area of study: Magnetic Resonance-Theory,Instrumentation and Application.
