Beschreibung
This book is an attempt to understand the phase behavior of the commercially available alkyl-benzene-and alkyl-ortho-xylene sulphonates on light of the well-characterised monoisomeric sulphonates, and the obedience of binary mixtures to the linear mixing rule for the length of the alkyl chains. Secondly, good predictions of the point of attachment of the benzene ring through the relation between solubilisation parameter (S0) and short chain length (SCL).

Prof. Dr. Viola was born in 1962, Cairo, Egypt. She received both of her B.Sc degree 1983 and M.Sc. degree 1993 from Cairo university. She performed her Ph.D 1998 from Ain Shams university .She is a professor of physical chemistry at Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute (EPRI) and she is also dean of process development department.
