Beschreibung
Over the past few decades, it has been quite a challenge to homogeneously disperse carbon nanotubes in polymer matrices. This has led to the adoption of different ways of increasing the rate of dispersion in the polymers. This work therefore aims at presenting a method of uniformly dispersing the nanotubes in PAN matrix and characterization of the composite using UV, IR and DSC methods. This being the case, the composite would be most suitable for Field Effect Transistors, Electromagnetic Shielding, Electrostatic printing, heat exchange and even 3D printing.
