The chemistry of hypervalent compounds has received much attention both from organic and inorganic chemists and a rapid development in this area has been noted in the last 25 years. The aim of this research was the synthesis and structural characterization, in solution and in solid state, of new organobismuth compounds with ligands containing nitrogen atom(s) able to coordinate intramolecularly through N-- Born in 1979 in Baia Mare, Romania. Graduated from Babes-Bolyai University in 2001 and received his Ph.D. in chemistry in 2007 from the same university, under supervision of Prof. C Silvestru, His research interests include synthesis and structural characterization of organobismuth compounds.Autorenporträt
