Beschreibung
Paint in any sphere of the world contains same constituents, though in varies proportions. This asserts that paint deficiencies are a global phenomenon. The emission of VOCs in Oil-based paint necessitates global regulation in its usage, though possesses adorable qualities. Emulsion paint, though, environmental friendly, but has few drawbacks such as poor water resistance; lack of gloss etc. Previous research revealed that deficiencies observed in emulsion paint is due to deficiency in emulsion paint binder. Therefore this research work is focused on modification of the binder, characterisation and formulation of waterborne-paint. In this book, you will discover * Up to date procedure on how to carry out epoxidation and hydroxylation reactions * Copolymerisation and chemistry behind the copolymerisation * Detail procedure on how to carry out physico-chemical parameters on copolymer interaction * Production of white paint * Characterisation of important parameters in paint industry * Comparison studies between paint formulated from conventional binder and paint formulated from copolymer binder.
