Beschreibung
Heavy metal pollution possess a great potential threat to the environment and has its own damaging effects to plants, animals and ultimately to human health, because of its release into the environment and water bodies results in a variety of illnesses related with the risk of dermal damage, respiratory problems and several kinds of cancer. On the other hand, the designing and synthesis of new imine molecules with colorimetric or chemosensor, which is eco-friendly, non-harmful and highly sensitive and selective towards metals, are currently of great attention. Imine ligands played an influencing role in development of coordination chemistry and were involved as key point in the development of inorganic biochemistry and optical materials. They find applications as biocidal agent, chemosensors, fluorescent materials, dyes and corrosion inhibitors.
