This book is intended for post graduate students, researchers and for industrial purposes. This book shows the method of treatment of Sugarcane Bagasse with alkali which leads to remove lignin. Further included the modification of Bagasse like Carboxymethylation and Cyanoethylation by monochloroacetic acid and acrylonitrile respectively, which reduced time duration as well as cost of modification. This book is very useful for those who like to prepare value added products from Sugarcane Bagasse.

Dr. Jitendra K. Parmar has completed his Master of Science with Analytical Chemistry in 2005 and completed his Doctorate from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat, India in 2010 under the guidance of Professor Dr. D. K. Raval. Author is working as Asst. Prof. & has published 10 research papers in peer reviewed international journals.
