The products may range from conventional products such as live animals, meat, milk, hides, etc. to non-conventional products such as embryos and embryo-clones. The focus of research on bovine tuberculosis (bTB) is to provide an improved understanding of risk factors associated with disease transmission and maintenance, such as various host, agent, and environmental factors, including level and type of animal husbandry practices. The focus of research was to provide an improved understanding of host immune responses that can be used in developing more reliable in vivo and in vitro diagnostic tests.
